Installing cPanel & WHM




In order for you to install cPanel / WHM you need to own a license for your IP address before attempting installation.

1. Connect to your server remotely as root
2. Make sure your system is up to date using the following command:   yum update -y
3. Open the /home directory using the following command:  cd /home 
4. Download the latest installation files from cPanel's servers using the following command:   wget -N http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/latest
5. Start the installation using the following command:   sh latest 

Please note the installation will take more than one hour.

After the installation is completed you can access the panel as follows:
cPanel:  http://IP/cpanel  or http://YOURDOMAIN/cpanel
WHM:  http://IP/whm  or http://YOURDOMAIN/whm
